Return to Sport Physical Therapy
Feeling better isn't the same as being ready. Let's close the gap between rehab and your sport.
Finished Rehab — But Not Quite Back. The Gap That Nobody Talks About
You did the rehab. The pain is gone. You can walk the dog, take the stairs and get through a workday without thinking about it.
But the first time you try a real run, a sprint to first base or a heavy squat, something feels off. Maybe it's hesitation. Maybe it's a knee that doesn't quite trust itself yet. And that's often right when insurance stops covering your visits, because on paper you're "back to function." But you know something is still holding you back. That gap, between getting back to life and getting back to your sport, is exactly where we work.
At Pursuit, Return to Sport (RTS) physical therapy picks up where regular rehab stops. We look at how you run, land, push off and handle load compared with what your sport asks of you. Then we rebuild strength, power and speed step by step, and bring your sport back in a controlled way, so you return to full training with clear signs you're ready.
Whether you're building back to race distance, getting back on the field, or returning to heavy lifts after surgery — this is where you start.
Rehab got you back to life. Now let's get you back to your sport,
Sound like you?
-
You finished PT for an injury or surgery, and daily life feels fine, but your sport doesn't yet.
-
Your doctor cleared you, and you're not sure what "cleared" actually means for your training.
-
You've tried easing back in on your own and keep getting the same twinge.
-
You have a race, a season or a goal on the calendar and want a plan to get there.
