FAQ

At Pursuit Physical Therapy, I do things a little differently than traditional outpatient, insurance based clinics, and with good reason.

Check out some of the frequently asked questions below to learn more about the why and how I do things differently at Pursuit Physical Therapy.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

Pursuit Physical Therapy is a fee for service cash based practice which allows each session to be delegated by your specific needs rather than your insurance contract. This means we do NOT take insurance. However, we are more than happy to provide the necessary information you need to file with to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement will vary based on your specific insurance provider and out-of-network PT benefits. Payment for PT services for is due at or before the time of services rendered.

WHERE WILL I BE TREATED?

Pursuit Physical Therapy offices out of Rayzor Ranch CrossFit in Argyle. Our partnership with Rayzor Ranch gives us access to a great space for agility movements as well as all of the fitness equipment needed to get you back to health as soon as possible. We also have a private treatment space located on the second floor of the building at 1966 Business Park Blvd., Argyle, TX 76226.

do i need to have my own equipment?

No, I will provide all of the equipment necessary to treat you. If your home or gym has additional equipment available, we'll make use of that as well. For home exercise plans, I can guide you on how to utilize what you have available to achieve your health and fitness pursuits.

do i need a PT Prescription?

You can schedule a visit with me at any time. Texas is currently a limited direct access state for physical therapy treatment. This means you can get started with PT without a referral. However, after 10 business days following the date of your initial PT evaluation you will need to obtain a PT referral from one of a variety of providers. I will be happy to help guide you to getting that referral if needed.

can i use my fsa or hsa card?

Yes, you can use your HSA or FSA card. This is your money and you are allowed to use it how and on what you want. You can use it for individual sessions or use it to purchase larger packages of visits as outlined in the Plans & Pricing section.
