PT That Actually Gets You Back to What Matters.

You've got a full schedule, a body that's been trying to get your attention, and not much patience for solutions that only half-work. You don't have to keep managing this. Let's actually fix it.

Hey — if you found this page, you're probably someone who keeps going. Full-time job, kids in sports, a packed weekend schedule, and somewhere in the middle of all of it, your body has been trying to get your attention.

Maybe it's the shoulder that flares up when you try to throw with your kid. Maybe it's the back that talks to you every Monday after a weekend run. Maybe you're showing up to every class and workout and still not feeling the way you think you should. Or maybe you've been quietly managing something for months — hoping it'll sort itself out — and it hasn't.

We built Pursuit PT for exactly that person. And we'd love to be the place that finally gives you some real answers.

We know what the usual PT experience feels like.

You get squeezed into a 30-minute slot. You're handed a printout of exercises. Maybe you feel a little better for a day or two. But the real problem — the thing that's actually causing your pain — never gets fully addressed. So it keeps coming back.

For someone like Matt — who sits at a desk in a high-pressure job all week, then tries to go full speed on a Saturday run or play catch with his kid — a generic PT protocol just isn't going to cut it. His body needs a plan that bridges what he's asking of it on the weekend with what he's putting it through Monday through Friday.

For someone like Sarah — who's showing up to small group training classes, doing her Pilates, doing everything "right" — the frustration is different. She's putting in the work and still not feeling the way she wants to. What she needs isn't more exercise. She needs someone who looks at the whole picture: her movement, her hormones, her history, and what she actually wants her body to be capable of long-term.

"I'd tried two other PT places. They were fine, but I never really understood what was wrong with me. At Pursuit, they actually explained it — and for the first time, I felt like we had a real plan."

Every plan starts with a real conversation — not a clipboard.

Here's what's actually different about the way we work.

Every session at Pursuit PT is one hour, one-on-one with your physical therapist. Not a tech. Not a shared room. Your PT is there the whole time, every time.

We start by actually listening. Not just "where does it hurt" — but what were you doing when it started, what have you already tried, what does your week actually look like, and what do you want your life to look like on the other side of this. Because for a dad who wants to throw a baseball without his shoulder aching, or a mom who wants to run a 5K with her husband and keep up with her kids for the next twenty years — the goal isn't just "less pain." It's getting back to something that matters.

Then we look at how your whole body moves. Not just the painful spot — because in our experience, the place that hurts is almost never the whole story. We find the root cause. And we fix it.

People come to us for a lot of different reasons.

Here are some of the most common — if any of these sound like you or someone in your family, that's exactly who we're here for:

Back & neck pain — especially the kind that builds from sitting at a desk all week and gets aggravated on the weekend. If Monday mornings start with stiffness, that's not just life.
Shoulder pain — whether it's from posture, overuse, or years of desk work. If tossing a baseball to your kid feels like a gamble right now, we can fix that.
Running pain & injury prevention — for runners building toward a 5K, 10K, or half marathon who want to do it smart and not end up sidelined. We do video running analysis and we genuinely love this work.
Strength & longevity for women — for the woman doing all the right workouts who still isn't feeling it. We look at movement, hormones, history, and build something that actually works for where your body is right now.
Pelvic floor & women's health — completely private, one-on-one. For women who are ready to stop quietly managing things and finally feel strong and in control of their own body.
Knee & hip pain — for runners, active parents, and weekend warriors who want to keep moving without paying for it the next day.
Youth sports injuries & prevention — for the middle and high school athlete at school and club level who needs their body to keep up with the schedule. We work with young athletes and their families.
Hands-on treatment / manual therapy
Suggested: close-up hands on shoulder or back
Hands-on work, every session. Not a printout and a wave goodbye.

So what actually happens when you reach out?

No pressure, no commitment. Here's how it goes:

1

We have a free 30-minute discovery call

You tell us what's going on. We listen — really listen. And we'll give you an honest answer about whether we think we can help and what that would look like.

2

We look at the whole picture

Your first session is a full 60-minute assessment — how you move, where the restrictions are, what's actually driving the pain. You'll know more about your body when you leave than when you walked in.

3

You get a real plan — built around your life

Not a generic protocol. A specific plan that fits your schedule, your goals, and where you are right now. Clear timeline, clear milestones, no guessing.

The other side of this looks really good.

Matt throwing a baseball on a Saturday afternoon without thinking twice. Sarah crossing the finish line of a 5K — feeling strong, not just surviving it. That's what we're working toward. Start with a free 30-minute discovery call.

A few things people usually want to know.

We're a cash-pay practice, which means we don't bill insurance companies directly. We know many people in the area have corporate PT coverage — and we want to be upfront: choosing Pursuit means opting out of using that plan for our sessions. Here's why many find it worth it: we're not bound by what insurance says your care should look like. No visit limits, no pre-authorizations, no 30-minute shared slots. You get a full hour, one-on-one, every session. Most clients use HSA/FSA funds, and many receive partial out-of-network reimbursement. We're happy to walk you through it all on your discovery call.
One full hour, one-on-one with your Doctor of Physical Therapy, every session. No aides, no double-booking, no waiting. We have time to actually think through what's happening in your body and adjust your plan every visit — not just follow a checklist someone made three weeks ago.
A real conversation first — we want to hear your whole story. Then a full movement assessment where we look at how your body works as a system and find the root cause. By the time you leave, you'll have a clear plan and know exactly what we're working on and why.
Many patients notice a meaningful difference within the first few sessions. We'll give you a realistic timeline during your first visit based on what we actually find — not a vague "let's see how it goes."
Yes — and it's one of our favorite parts of what we do. We work with middle school and high school athletes across all sports — baseball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, track, swimming, football, tennis, and more. Whether your athlete is dealing with an injury, recovering from one, or you just want to make sure they're built to handle a full season of school and club competition, bring them in. We'd love to meet them.
